阮咸家族在彈撥樂器中聲音最為融和。這首作品以單一旋律動機發展,探索四個阮咸重奏時如何依靠大家連成一片延綿不斷的音響。一期一會,所有材料只會出現一次,即便它再現,也已經不同。
Wong Ching-yin Justin - Echo
The ruan family has the most harmonious sound among plucked string instruments. This piece develops from a single melodic motif, exploring how the four ruan instruments rely on each other to create a continuous and seamless soundscape. Each musical phrase appears only once, and even if it reoccurs, it already turned into different morphs.
梁智軒 - 點滴萬千
《點滴萬千》是為阮琴四重奏高阮、小阮、中阮及大阮而寫的作品。作品的意念來自中國彈撥樂清脆柔和的音色,透過作品表現出阮琴不同的特質。作品用上三段體的曲式,每一段都能表現到阮琴獨特的一面。第一段為活潑的快板,急速的十六分音符成為此段的動機。聲部的交替,不 斷地穿梭於四個阮琴之間,音樂的氣氛變得熱鬧,並充份表現阮琴熱情澎湃的一 面。第二段為休閒的行板,簡單而清新的旋律成為此段的主題。一問一答、一唱 一和,田園、自然的氣氛佈滿全段,表現了阮琴清優高雅的一面。最後樂曲再一次回到快板,阮琴的協作更表現得無間,樂曲在緊湊、熱鬧 的氣氛中結束。
Leung Chi-hin Michael - Thousands of Pearly Drops
Thousands of Pearly Drops is a piece written for ruan (gaoruan, xiaoruan zhongruan and daruan) quartet. The work is inspired by the clear and soft tone colour of Chinese plucked instrument. The work is in ternary form, each section shows the unique characteristics of the instruments. In the first section, Allegro con moto, rapid semiquavers are defined as the motive. Lively and enthusiastic atmosphere is presented by the voice crossing among the instruments. In the second section, Andante, fresh and lyrical melodies become the theme of the section. Question and answer among instruments show ruan’s elegant colour. Finally, the tempo changes back to Allegro con moto. More intense and compact sound brings the music to the climax and an exciting ending.
黃學揚 - 廟街探戈 II
粵樂《廟街探戈》是一首融合了探戈節奏和中國音樂元素的樂曲,描繪了香港著名的夜市景象和廟街的文化特色。這首樂曲的靈感來自於廣東音樂《禪院鐘聲》,而廟街天后廟正是當年這首樂曲創作的地方。這所廟宇已有逾百年歷史,裡面有清朝的石獅及銅鐘。廟街夜市是香港著名的旅遊景點之一,當中有各種攤檔,如雜貨攤檔、美食大排檔、算命攤檔和古舊的卡拉OK酒吧、粵劇表演等。廟街牌樓的對聯寫道「廟顯中華傳統文化;街現香港創新精神」,體現了廟街的文化特色和香港的多元文化。《廟街探戈》的音樂風格充滿了活力和節奏感,讓人聯想到廟街夜市的繁華和充滿活力的氛圍。這首樂曲融合了不同民族文化和新老事物,在展現香港多元文化的同時也彰顯了香港的 創新精神。
Wong Hok-yeung Alfred - Tango in Temple Street II
Tango in Temple Street is a “neo-Cantonese” music that blends the rhythm of tango with elements of Chinese music, depicting the famous night market scene and cultural features of Temple Street in Hong Kong. The music inspiration comes from Cantonese music The Toll of the Temple Bell, and the Temple of Tin Hau at Temple Street was the place where this music was first created. The temple has a history of over a hundred years and contains Qing Dynasty stone lions and bronze bells. The Temple Street night market is one of Hong Kong's famous tourist attractions, with various stalls such as groceries, food, fortune-telling, and old karaoke bars as well as Cantonese opera performances. The couplet at the entrance to the Temple Street arch reads "The temple shows the traditional Chinese culture; the street shows the innovative spirit of Hong Kong," reflecting the cultural characteristics of Temple Street and Hong Kong's diverse culture. The music style of Cantonese Tango in Temple Street is full of vitality and rhythm, reminiscent of the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of the Temple Street night market. This composition integrates different ethnic cultures and old and new elements, showcasing Hong Kong's innovative spirit while highlighting its multiculturalism.
